En ce début du mois de février, le département international de l’IHECS a eu le plaisir d’accueillir 67 étudiants dans le programme Erasmus, 8 étudiants dans le programme IHECSolidaire et 6 étudiants avec le programme de l’ARES. Donc un total de 81 étudiants, un record !
Avant de commencer ce quadrimestre, ces étudiants ont eu l’opportunité de participer à une semaine d’intégration pour découvrir l’IHECS et Bruxelles.
This trip essentially consisted of laying the foundations for an educational and technical partnership with the Central University of Tunis and its school of communication (journalism). The Central University of Tunis is the first private university in Tunisia. It is one of the members of the Honoris educational group, an entity that develops its training activities through around twenty institutions in six African countries. In addition to several entire universities, the group organises training in specialised schools: art, architecture, business, IT and health sciences.
For this collection, the young illustrator decided to highlight the negative impact of mankind on the planet and how this impact leads to catastrophic consequences both for us and for the world around us.
"À Terre!" is an exhibition that challenges, shocks and confronts realities that we would sometimes like to sweep under the carpet. Kayene's goal is to launch the dialogue with a fresh and very familiar approach: a picture is worth a thousand words.

Le jeune illustrateur a décidé, pour cette collection, de mettre en avant l’impact négatif de l’Homme sur la planète et comment cet impact fini par avoir des conséquences désastreuses tant sur nous, que sur le monde qui nous entoure.
« À Terre ! » est une exposition qui interpelle, qui choque et qui met face à des réalités que l’on voudrait parfois mettre au placard. Le but de Kayene est d’ouvrir le débat d’une nouvelle manière et on le sait bien : une image vaut mille mots.
Réalisé par Driss Ajbali, le médiateur de la MAP, “Figures de la presse marocaine” est un travail de fond qui cadre avec les nouvelles missions de la MAP, celles d’accompagner le secteur médiatique par la connaissance, le savoir et la recherche, souligne le Directeur Général de l’Agence, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, qui a préfacé l’ouvrage.*
The objective was threefold: to maintain relationships that have already been strong for a number of years (thus, a partnership involving citizen journalism and the training of journalists is already in place), to develop new communication exchange projects and to lay the groundwork for inter-university research (between Ki-Zerbo University, UCLouvain, and IHECS) on territorial security, against the backdrop of a resurgence of violence on the ground.
Despite the current situation with which we are all familiar, 27 international students have selected IHECS as their exchange host. At the same time, 7 participants from the IHECSolidaire programme are also taking advantage of the opportunity to attend IHECS.
L’objectif était triple : maintenir des relations déjà fortes depuis plusieurs années (ainsi, un partenariat autour du journalisme citoyen comme de la formation des journalistes est déjà en place), développer de nouveaux projets d’échanges en communication et poser les premiers jalons d’une recherche interuniversitaire (université Ki-Zerbo, UCLouvain, IHECS) sur la sécurité territoriale, dans un contexte de résurgence de la violence sur le terrain.
