Dans le cadre de notre partenariat avec l’UIR et la création de la faculté de communication IHECS Afrique, Meryem Khadri et Rim Rhmani se sont rendues à l’IHECS pour une semaine d’échanges.
This cooperation programme developed by the ARES Development Cooperation Commission (CCD) involves thirteen partners in twelve countries.
IHECS has participated in two of the identification missions. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Professor Élise Maas collaborated inthe work performed by UNIKIN (University of Kinshasa), and in Madagascar, our rector contributed to the workshops carried out with the University of Antananarivo.
This mission in which Frédéric Moens, our rector, Emmanuel Wathelet, president of the Media Literacy Master programme and Nordine Nabili, president of the Journalism Master programme, took part was scheduled for the end of January but had to be postponed due to the coup d'etat, one of the consequences of which was subsequent border closures. The political situation being more stable today, it became possible to engage the university as a partner.
In the wake of the organisation of the academic forum between the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (WBF) and Morocco next May in Brussels, a webinar was organised on Tuesday to present the five-year development cooperation programme defined and implemented by the Development Cooperation Commission of the Academy of Research and Higher Education (ARES).
At the beginning of February, the international department of IHECS had the pleasure of welcoming 67 students to the Erasmus programme, 8 students to the IHECSolidaire programme and 6 students to the ARES programme, making a total of 81 students, a record!
Before embarking on this semester, these students had the opportunity to participate in an integration week to explore IHECS and Brussels.
Ce programme de coopération développé par la Commission de coopération au développement (CCD) de l’ARES concerne treize partenaires dans douze pays.
L’IHECS a participé à deux des missions d’identification, en République démocratique du Congo où la professeure Élise Maas a pris part aux travaux avec l’UNIKIN (université de Kinshasa) et à Madagascar où notre recteur a contribué aux ateliers menés avec l’UA.
Cette dernière mission a permis d’identifier quatre axes de coopération qui seront opérationnalisés lors d’une prochaine visite planifiée en fin d’année civile.
Cette mission à laquelle ont participé Frédéric Moens, notre recteur, Emmanuel Wathelet, président du Master EAM et Nordine Nabili, préssident du Master PI, était prévue fin janvier mais avait dû être reportée en raison du coup d’État dont une des conséquences était alors la fermeture des frontières. La situation politique étant aujourd’hui plus stable, retrouver les partenaires de l’université devenait possible.
Dans le sillage de l'organisation, en mai prochain à Bruxelles, du forum académique entre la fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (FWB) et le Maroc, un webinaire a été organisé, mardi, pour présenter le programme quinquennal de coopération au développement défini et mis œuvre par la commission de la coopération au développement de l’Académie de recherche et d’enseignement supérieur (ARES).
