"coLAB", a brand new project!

20.04.2018
In partnership with London, Clermont-Ferrand and Rome, IHECS launched its "coLAB" project on Tuesday, 17th April.

"coLAB": what's it all about?

"coLAB - A laboratory for new forms of collaboration" is a project initiated by IHECS, in partnership with the London College of Communication (London), Université Clermont Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand) and LUMSA (Rome).

"coLAB" aims to promote a global school/community approach and is designed to improve the social integration of migrants and refugees within the university environment. This activity will result in a good practice manual covering the integration of migrants and refugees as teachers and experts in higher education institutions.

Following the selection of the project by the Council of Europe as part of the call for DISCO - Democratic and Inclusive School Culture in Operation - projects, Sophie Henrad, coordinator of the international department of IHECS and Hélène Pochet, "coLAB" project manager, were invited to attend the conference in Strasbourg to launch the two projects that were selected from a total entry of 29 projects.
