Media juries at IHECS: a springboard to the professional world

10.02.2026
It is one of the important events in our academic calendar: media jury week. From 19 to 23 January, our M2 students were able to show us the results of their work, combining creativity, strategy and audacity!

Coming from our Master's programmes in Public Relations, Event Management, Press and Information, Advertising, and Cultural and Social Communication, the Master 2 students presented the fruit of several months of work: projects carried out with high standards, in close collaboration with their teachers and directly linked to the realities of their future professional sectors.

Over the course of a week, the juries took turns evaluating projects on a wide variety of topics. These included tools promoting culture in prisons, reports on topics such as high-level sport and nightlife in Brussels, public relations campaigns for advertisers such as Thomas & Piron and the Red Cross, advertising strategies for Birkenstock and Eurostar, and turnkey event concepts for Action Damien and D'Ieteren.

These presentations allowed students to defend their strategic, creative and editorial choices in front of an audience of professionals, teachers and peers, in conditions similar to those of the working world. The jury members praised the overall quality of the projects, highlighting the rigour of the approaches, the relevance of the analyses and the professional standard of the deliverables.

IHECS, sponsor of projects in the Master's in Event Management

For once, IHECS also took on the role of sponsor for three groups of students from the Master's in Event Management programme. They worked on the design and strategic thinking behind the future inauguration of our new building in Reyers. This was a unique opportunity to tackle a real-life case study while actively contributing to the thinking behind a project that will shape the future of the school.

"The ideas proposed by the students were varied and original and are a real source of inspiration for the rest of the project."
Véronique Salvi, General Administrator of IHECS and sponsor

A key step before the internship

Organised just before they leave for their internships, these media thesis juries are a key step for our Master 2 students, bridging the gap between academic training and entry into professional life. IHECS is delighted with the quality of the projects presented and congratulates all the students for their commitment and professionalism.
