Frédéric Moens on assignment in Madagascar

11.09.2023
From 20 to 26 August, Frédéric Moens visited Madagascar as part of an institutional support mission developed by ARES

As part of the institutional support (IKS) for higher education establishments in the South, a programme developed by the ARES Development Cooperation Commission (ARES-CCD), Frédéric Moens visited the University of Antananarivo (UA) in Madagascar.

Focusing on the result of the deployment of a digital research portal and, more generally, support for institutional communication on the part of the University of Antananarivo, Frédéric Moens, together with his local correspondent Lalaina Rakotonantoandro, cooperated in the development of participatory workshops aimed at identifying the needs of different users of these digital tools.

On this occasion, he had the opportunity to visit the different faculties of UA and to reinforce the contacts IHECS maintains with this antipodean partner.
This is not the first time that Frédéric Moens has visited Madagascar ; in fact, he visited last year as part of his mission as academic coordinator of the Institutional Support programme.
