Exchange between Jean-François Raskin and IPERMIC students

28.02.2024
From 1 to 7 February, Jean-François Raskin visited Joseph Ki Zerbo University in Ouagadougou to give 20 hours of lectures to third-year students at IPERMIC.

The training focused, among other things, on the various forms of contemporary journalism; there was consensus among the students about the originality and added value of these meetings. This exchange is part of the long-standing cooperation established between IHECS and this Burkinabe partner.

Our General Manager also took advantage of his presence in Burkina Faso to meet the managers of IPERMIC and reaffirm with them the importance of the partnership that unites us with this dynamic institution. Between 2018 and 2022 this cooperation benefited from the support of the WBI. Despite the security and political situation in the country, IHECS continues its cooperation with IPERMIC by welcoming fellows from the university and civil society to allow them to improve their skillsets. More than ever, with a view to establishing all democratic practices, our institution continues to support the training of journalists on site.
